Why not per default blocking questionable content but allowing users to disable this blocking. I see little sense in having people mark their own posts as NSFW - not because they might be lazy but because what is safe for work strongly depends on the culture you live in. In the USA breastfeeding can get women into jail, an idea that in parts of Africa would be seen as utterly ridiculous.
